I have a digital TV, and according to TitanTV.com there are a lot of DTV channels in my location. Some of them are 13.1, 13.2. How do I access those channels? Is it 131 on my remote?

  1. Have you scanned your digital channels into your TV's channel list? If not, go into your TV's "Setup" menu and scan "All" or "Digital" channels.

After scanning your digital channels you should be able to access them with your remote control. Look at your remote control. On your number pad you should see either a dash <-> or a period <.> To select 13-1, simply input a one, then a three, a dash or period (depending on what your remote control supports) and the sub-channel number (1, 2, etc).

I have removed all analog channel numbers from my channel list. With no analog channel numbers in my TV's channel list, my TV will automatically add a dash and a one (1) to any channel number I have typed if I do not type the dash and sub-channel number. With analog channels in my TV's channel list, my TV would tune to the analog channel 13 without a dash and sub-channel number.

Finally, use of the up or down channel button on your remote should also allow you to access your DTV channels (provided they have been scanned into your channel list).

  2. There should be a button on your remote that either is "." or "-" pressing either of these buttons should get you to the HD channels.  for example... press 13.1   or 13-1
