How do you activate a Bright Future Scholarship?

I have been told that in order to use my Bright Future Scholarship, I have to activate it. I have called and spoke to the counselors numerous times, and all they will tell me to do do is activate it online at the Florida Financial Aid website. I have been there and can't figure out how to activate it, all it tells me is how to check the status. Someone please tell me how to activate it!

Don't worry.  First call 1-888-827-2004 and explain what kind of trouble you are having with the website and ask for someone to walk you through the process.

They have pretty clear instructions.  If you try both of those routes and are still having problems let me know and I will get you more specifics.

apparently my college degree didn't help me either.  I went on the site, exactly as the former answers' instructed and I was unable to navigate to any "activation" link.  It seems to me the poor child got the same answer from yahoo she received from the campus help line and is therefore no better off.  

To those who responded:  Your help is wanted.  What we need is someone who can tell us where to find the link once we log on?  We can get to the part where we check certification, but it doesn't really take us anywhere.  Any addition info would be greatly appreciated.
