How do you activate your Nintendo DS R4 Theme?

I made my theme, changed the .ini, everything is .bmp, and i replaced it with a previous theme. everything on my computer is fine. but when I try to activate it on the DS, its messed up with the previous one that used to be in that file. Am i doing something wrong? or am i missing something? Help!

yes something you're doing wrong. what you need to do is rename your files so they match exactly the same name as the default. Then just replace the default with yours. There is no 'activation' procedure. just replace.
