How do you add another user to your computer

  1. Via Control panel -> Users (or User accounts). Click "Add user" or similar.


  2. Control panel - User accounts - create new user.

    Or geeky way, open command prompt and type "net user newaccountname /add"

  3. if u using xp..open cntrl panel and click user accounts..u can add/create a new user account..

  4. If you are using XP these are the steps.

    First click on start go up to Settings and click on Control panel. Once in there look for User Accounts click on that and go to the second part that says Create a new account, Just follow the prompts, If it is for a household person you probably want to create them as a Computer Administrator.

    Then click on Change the way users log on and off , Just read your 2 options and choose what best suits your needs. You can always go back and change it if you don't like that way.
