  1. Type up whatever you want in your blog, then click on "View HTML source". A sort of code will come up and the page will look a little different...ignore that. Just paste in the code (after you've copied it of course) from youtube or wherever you're getting it from, after the last thing that's on the page. Click, paste. Then click on preview and you'll see your entry plus the music. If you decide you want to add more words, click on 'edit' and the page will look differently than the last time you saw it....that's OK. Just write whatever, then preview it or just save and publish it.

  2. adding music or video to web pages requires you to embed their url within the object/embed tag

    please read through this page

    http://www.theedifier.com/blogging-blogg...

  3. On your Y! 360, click "Edit blast." Then, paste the mp3's URL into the URL section of your blast.

Add text to your blast and save.

After you've saved it, you should see a "Play" button. Click it to ensure the song works.

You can also find mp3 URLs online:

    Search http://altavista.com for mp3s

    You can also search http://musichunter.net

Search for the mp3 on Musichunter.

When you get the results, click the song's link.

Near 'Download,' you'll see 'Here.' Click 'Here' and copy the mp3's URL from your address bar. Paste the mp3's URL in your blast.

You can't use "wma" or any other format in the blast section; only an mp3.

    For music in your blog:

Sign up for an account at a file-hosting website:

    http://fileden.com or http://snapdrive.net or http://www.streamload.com

For http://imeem.com players in your blog:

Search for the song on Imeem.

When the search completes, click the name of the song near the green 'play' icon.

On the next page/under the Imeem music player, you'll see the 'Embed' code (and near that, you'll see the option to have the song on autoplay/keep the box unchecked if you don't want the song to play automatically).

    Copy the embed code.

When you go to compose a blog:

    1) Check the "View HTML source" box (on the right of your blog entry page/near the emoticons/fonts/font colors, etc)

    2) Paste in the Music player code

    3) Add text

    4) Preview/Save.
