I saw there was a feature you can add to your pictures where the "thief" tries to save your picture, but it saves as another picture that you choose. I have tried to find this website again and have not been able too. Could someone assist me?

  1. I've seen this somewhere too but my advice is don't bother with it.  There are other ways for people to steal your images than right click and save as.  However if you are still interested the site listed in the source tells you how to do it.

  2. You need scripting to do that, most of them run in javascript.

They are also easily avoidable as even crappy browsers let you toggle javascript on and off - some even let you pick and chose which ones run.

If you really don't want people stealing stuff, then you need to hire a lawyer so you can draft up a legal agreement that people must sign before logging into your website, allowing you to trace them by ip, then you need to log all connections and monitor which ip's download what and send personal information divulgence requests to the appropriate isp's citing your legal authority to prosecute users for breach of copyright.

  3. What he said. Just don't post hi-res pics.
