How do you add to an existing patio?

I have a small concrete patio against the back of the house. How do I add to that patio as well as give it a more organic shape? Currently it is rectangular, but I want to enlarge it and make it more of an oval shape that wraps around to the other side of the house. How do I get the shape exactly the shape that I want it?

you might have to break up the exsisting concrete, and then have a company pour more concete in a desired oval frame.

Use a hose pipe, empty, to create the shape you want.

Choose a different material to work with to "fill in" between your new shape & your existing patio.

You could get creative by choosing different coloured bricks, pebbles etc to add more interest.
