How do you add to your website how many people are currently on line ?

I run 2 small websites www.tatts4u.co.uk and www.letmepaintyourface.co.uk. I would like to know how I could add a feature which shows how many people are currently on line at the current time. Is this something that can be done with medium web skills ?

Also does anyone have some code which I could put on so people could bookmark the sites ?

Go here and grab the code, where it says, CHANGE_TO_YOUR_DOMAIN.com you will put your site's link. That's about all you'll have to edit.

There's another one that I personally like more and I use it as well, however it might be a little more difficult for you to add, if you just can't add this one, get the first one, they're both very good.
