How do you adjust to new work environments?

How do you adjust into a new work environment if a person u do not get along with is working in the new work force that you are going to join?ie.in the same dept as you are in

Well the most obvious thing is to make an effort to get along with your co-workers.  Bosses like to see that you're making an effort.  Things to avoid are:

1. talking trash about them behind their back

2. constantly going over their head to get the bosses to resolve petty issues.

3. doing crappy work whenever that other person might benefit.

If you can't be an adult and get over your issues then look for another job.

Sorry, I know it's harsh, but if you're not at your job to work, then you should leave.
