How do you advertise a website?

What I'm wondering is for example when I use yahoo search engine to look up Pizza Hut...as I'm typing "pizza" it completes it for me and suggests pizza hut. I would like to advertise my website in this manner. Does anyone know where too look for that advertising? thank you.

I use autosurf programs like http://www.topsurfing.net to get free hits to your site. They help a lot in getting your website higher in the search engines. I have never paid for any advertising and my sites do well in search engines.

There are two ways to get your site to appear in a search engine such a Google for a given keyword.

1. Natural search.  It takes time, but if you get lots of links to your site from other sites using that keyword it will boost your site in the rankings.  Example: Lots of links to your site using the Anchor text PIzza.  Hard to do, takes time.

2. Pay Per Click ads like Adwords. This is where you pay per click to put your ad in the search engine. When someone types in Pizza they see your ad down the right side.  This can cost a fortune if you don't do it correctly.
