i don't know how hot it is over there, but in Avon dale Arizona can't even walk out side to get the mail that you feel like  your melting like ice cream

Shivorny, i hope that window of yours is on the security catch, i.e it looks shut from the street. They`re are a lot of criminals, not just house thiefs, who prowl about at night looking for open windows to gain entry to properties.

I get into bed & try to keep as still as possible, once i start fidgeting i overheat & sleeping is impossible. No air con or fan.

Think about the soldiers sleeping in the heat humidity and monsoon rain of Vietnam. The soldiers sleeping in the dry dusty windy heat of the Middle East. The soldiers sleeping in the bitter biting cold of Korea. That might help.

Air conditioning. Two units on the roof. One is a two-ton and the other a four-ton. Both set at 78 degrees. The high today was only 102 degrees. Tomorrow it will be 104 degrees. And that's at the airport. You have to add a few more degrees in my backyard where the pool is.

I understand that today was the hottest day of the year in Great Britain. But, that is our overnight low this time of year.
