How do you and your husband handle family functions?

Do you split up the holidays?

Do you argue about going (or not wanting to go)?

I feel like a mother who has a divorce arrangement and only gets to see her kids on weekends and holidays...(i.e. my family)

Don't care, hate holiday's.  Would rather be working, so whatever she feels like is fine by me.

We split it to some degree. Although, there isn't always money to take the 500 mile trip to see my family so his family sees us more. That is okay though. It is about give and take. Some holiday function could be held at your home too.
