Hey everyone! I was wondering if you could help me learn how to apply that perfect smokey eye that is so in style right now. I have dark brown eyes and relatively thick eye lashes, if that helps you to know. I would greatly appreciate step by step instructions if that wouldn't be too difficult for you.

  2. basically all you do is put black eyeliner on & just smear it to get the "smokey" look. but you need the right eyeliner...it's hard for anyone to explain in words so it's best to look it up on youtube! =]

  3. 1. Apply a cream concealer over your eyelid to create a smooth base for your eyeshadow.

    2. Use a pencil liner (black or gray looks best) to trace your top lashline from the inner corner to the outer. Then, use the same pencil to dot between your lower lashes. Smudge both lashlines with a cotton swab or an eyeliner brush.

    3. Sweep powder shadow (brown, gray and dark green all work with black or gray liner) over your lid and into your crease, blending the color up and outward, says New York City makeup artist Morgen Schick DeMann.Marie Claire recommends: Morgen Stained Glass Eye Wash in Spruce; Shiseido The Makeup Eye Shadow Brush; Cover Girl Perfect Blend Pencil in Basic Black; Origins Full Story Lush-Lash Mascara in Black.

TIP: To prevent color from fading and give your lids a more shimmery finish, pat a cream shadow over the concealer on your lid first, wait five minutes, then top with a matching powder shadow.

    4. Dust a lighter, neutral eyeshadow (such as ivory) over just your browbone.

    5. Finish with two coats of black mascara.

  5. follow these steps

1-Smooth concealer over the entire lid, creating a base for the shadow to stick and stay put for hours. This look requires a heavy amount of makeup and it's essential the eye is prepared correctly so the makeup doesn't crease or wear off in a few hours.

    2-Curl your eyelashes.

3-  Begin by carefully lining the top and bottom of the eyes with a dark brown or black liner. Soften the lines by gently smudging with a fingertip or cotton swab.

4-Line the top and bottom of the eyes next with a matte brown eye shadow using a small brush. Stay close to the eyes, and blend out toward the crease. The color should be in a chocolate or lighter cocoa color. Stay away from red- or pink-toned browns which will give you a sickly look.

5- Dust the entire eyelid with a lighter color using a makeup brush. A shimmery shadow works well. Choose a color that compliments the darker brown but steps it up a bit. A bronze or gold tint would look best.

6- Finish with volumizing waterproof mascara on the eyelashes. It should be either black brown or black, depending on which color eye liner was used. Once the first coat of mascara has dried, apply a second coat to the top lashes only.

7-Use softer shades of makeup on the lips and cheeks so nothing will compete with the dramatic eyes. Soft and light nude shades look best.

    1) Start with a base. Use Urban Decay's Primer Potion.

    2) Apply a metalic brown eyeshadow to your upper lid, blending it out above the crease. Use Urban Decay's Smog eyeshadow and applied it with Loew Cornelle's 3/8" maxine's mop brush.

    3) Using a pencil brush, apply the same eyeshadow to your lower lashline. Use the mac 219 brush.

    4) Apply a highlight under your brow and blend. Use Ricepapaer eyeshadow by mac and the same Loew Cornell brush from earlier.

    5) Grab your favorite black eyeliner and line your upper & lower lashlines and waterlines.

    6) Using a pencil brush, smudge the snot right out of that black eyeliner.

    7) Apply Mascara.

*You can use other colors, too. Check out more videos on youtube. Hope I helped! ~♥VigorousVirgo1995♥
