How do you apply eye liner??

Question

Okayy..well a couple weeks ago..my mom bought me make-upp and a whole lot of it.. I am getting older and i would like to wear eyeliner..except the thing is that i dont noe how to put it on...i have tried toi pur it on and when i am finished i look like a racoon!!! i want to apply eye liner normally so can somebodyy helpp me??

do you use liquid or pencil? If you&#039;re new to wearing make-up, you might wanna start with a pencil so you don&#039;t end up looking like a raccoon.

It&#039;s heaps easier with pencil (I&#039;ve been wearing eyeliner for 4 years and I still cant use liquid x_x)

That happened to me when I first started wearing eyeliner. I had no big sister to tell me what to do and my mom doesn&#039;t wear make-up. So I was on my own!

before you start make sure your face is clean and moisturized. Also make sure your eyeliner is sharpened if it is a pencil, if it is liquid I suggest you get a pencil. If it is a cream Make sure you have an eyeliner brush - a very good and thin one.

First take your ring finger and pull your eye lid so your lash line is straight. But do it gently.

now take your eyeliner pencil or brush and apply it right along the lash line in small strokes. Start from the inside (tearduck) and work your way out. your lashes will act like a ruler and thats the line you have to follow. It is way easier to do it in small strokes. Take your time. You&#039;ll become faster with the more experience you have.

I&#039;m a lefty and I apply eyeliner to my right eye with my left hand. But I find it hard to get the eyeliner close to my lashes on my left eye. So I switch hands and use my right hand for my left eye. You may want to try this. It gives you a better angel.

If you Have a liquid liner do the same as above but make sure you wait until it is dry.

If you want to put it along the bottom lash line this may be trickier. And thats the main reason that people put the eyeliner sorta &quot;inside&quot; their eye. it goes alot faster. But if you do use it on the bottom and do not want to put it there do the same as above. make sure your liner is sharp, make s striaght lash line and small strokes. Go right on the lashes if you must. I like using the cream liner on the bottom eye if it&#039;s not &quot;inside&quot; the eye. Never use liquid on the bottom.

Going on youtube to watch how people put it on will help you. But remember everyone has a different technique and you&#039;ll soon develope your own. - I use a different technique than the one above now aswell but the one I stated above I used after I messed up my liner a first few times when I was a beginner
