How do you apply for a job if you are still in secondary education?

Can you just walk into any retailer e.g. ASDA or a newsagents and ask if they have any vacancies or do fill in an application form online

Yes, you should be able to walk in no problem and just ask for a job, i done this with tesco when i was 16 and they said no problem, as long as you are with someone over 18 when alcohol needs to be sold, but this is only really if you are on checkouts.
