How do you artificially colour a live flower which has its' own natural colour ?

  1. You can clip the bottom of the stem and put it in water with a water soluble dye. This works if the flower has a light color.

    In florists, they are colored by a spray-on additive.

    Some flowers are effected b the acidity or alkalinity of the soil and can change between a red, purple and blue.


  2. You put it in water that has a lot of dye in it.
