It is not a freestanding bath, it is a plastic one that you put in the corner of a wall. YOU DO ATTATCH THEM TO THE WALL, otherwise you could tip it over when it was full of water wouldnt you?!?

  1. Usually baths that come with legs ("clawfoot tubs") are made of a heavy material like cast iron or porcelain. As a result, their weight alone makes it unnecessary to attach them to the floor or wall.

I assume the "feet" don't come with bolt holes or anything...

Is it a new tub? Did it come with instructions?  The showers/tubs I've bought in the past all came with some level of instruction.

  2. add glue

  3. You should have two L shaped brackets these fixto the wood frame and the wall,Plus s***w the legs to the floor,

  4. you dont you fix the legs to the floor

  5. New moulded plastic baths come with a self assembly frame and timber boards under the rim on to which wall fixing brackets are affixed.

If the assembly kit does not have brackets with it,simply buy 3 or 4 angled brackets of the size of the timber width.

Please ignore the other answerers who clearly have no idea.

All baths other than free standing cast iron baths are fixed to the wall aswell as the floor via the legs..All baths have legs.

  6. u talking about a bath tub? tubs with legs do not get attached to walls
