How do you back up files on an iPod on a different drive on your computer?

I don't have enough space on my C: Drive, so I want to back up all my files on a drive that has more memory. How do I go about doing this?

One thing to be very careful of is that itunes is not aware when you MOVE your music files.  If you just move them, it won't be able to find them and you will have to individually find them again and link it back to itunes. It's a nightmare, believe me.  Follow the instructions here:
