How do you bankroll a black jack table at a casino?

Ive heard of people actually bankrolling the house at a blackjack table. (the player is actually playing against you as opposed to the house). How much money do you need? Anyone ever done it

  1. I've only done this a few times, and it was a long time ago.  None of the large casinos will let you do this, but some of the "indian" casinos will.  At the time you had to have something like 100x the minimum bet.

The only place I've seen this done are some of the smaller ard rooms here in CA.  They play something called CA No Bust Blackjack.  In this setup, the other players play against your hand to begin with. You get bound by the rules of a dealer, hitting to 17 or higher.  If you lose, the house makes up the difference after you exhaust all your chips, so the other players are paid fairly.  If you win, you win the chips others bet.

    I've also seen this as an option on Pai Gow tables in Las Vegas, but there, as a player you need to be able to cover all other bets on the table (not including side wagers)  If you announce you want to bank, other players can choose to up their bet on the hand to prevent you from being able to bank.
