  1. We bathe before bed in a tub maybe 6 inches full of water with bubbles added and lots of toys. We also use a faucet guard. We use a wash rag with mild soap on his body -starting at the cleanest places to the dirtiest-and a cup to rinse well. Then we use the cup to wet his hair and shampoo it up. Use the cup again to rinse it out with him tipping his head back. So far we have always been lucky that he loves baths!

  2. Second the advice to use a suction cup seat. Just remember that they are NOT an alternative to supervising your child at all times when they are in the water. They just make it easier.

  3. From past experience, little children can be a pain to bathe, so i recomend a suction cup strap in seat. They suction to the bottom of the bath and keep children sitting upright. It is also important to supervise children having baths, cause they drown so easily. Bt most importantly, make their bath time fun! It so much easier.

  4. we put a little water in the tub and fill it with lots of toys then I soap up his hair. Then I start having him wash himself. I tell him to wash his arms and legs and his "willy" (boy parts) and I let him do it. THen I go over it all again with his washcloth and we have a little play time to splash and have fun. Then it is time to get out! Good luck!!!

  5. I start the water, put soap and toys in. Then I throw in my 2 year old. I let her judge when she has enough water. Then I sit there and read a book to relax while she takes a bath. washing her hair is a struggle though. I have found that the syringes you get from the hospital for ear cleaning are a great way to wash hair because it's like having a water gun in the tub..she loves it and wants to do it herself.

  6. Step one:

Gather stuff(towel, wash cloth, baby soap, and toys) and put a bath mat in the bottom of the tub so it is not slippery.

    Step two:

Fill with warm not hot water about hand width when hand is sideways with pinky on bottom and thumb on top.

    Step three:

    And kid and toys

    Step four:

Wash with tear free baby soap and rinse

    Step five:

    Dry, diaper, and cloth

    All done.
