  1. When I was in school, I used a zipper binder or a binder with a velcro flap (called a "Trapper Keeper" by Mead) to organize all my school work in.  I usually kept a two-pocket folder for each class.

I wasn't very organized with it in school.  If I could do it over again, I would do the next step up:  Using the binder, I'd place homework assignments to be completed in one pocket, and completed assignments in the other pocket.  Any assignments that have been graded I would have kept in a separate folder, or one of the pockets already built into the binder.  When I got home, I would transfer those graded items into a *separate* binder, with tab dividers for each subject.  That way, I would have something to refer to when studying for any test or exam in that subject.

  2. I think the outcome of you being organized will be you getting better grades....when you are unorganized you forget things and misplace things etc resulting in a lower grade.

I couldn't live without an agenda...started in grade 7 which was a pain but by high school & college it was necessity!

I'm a stay at home mom now, and can't live without a calendar! I'd forget way too much!

  3. i always have a accordian file with one file for each class. Every single paper that i get from each class goes directly into that file so i know where it is at all times. i do not throw ANYTHING away until i have taken the final exam at the end of the year. Every friday i clean out my locker and make sure i know where everything is. THis really helps. In middle school, i was an unorganized, B and C student. Now (9th grade) I am a straight A student in three advanced classes
