Maybe she's not interested.  Try a more straight forward approach.  Tell her what you want.  Her reaction will let you know what she's thinking/feeling.

What Joyous said works with my wife.

If I try to be romantic, she acts like I'm being manipulative.  I try to get her in the mood, she shoots me down.  I jump her, show my own interest so to speak, she gets into it and gets excited herself.  It seems that for her, she doesn't like me to 'light her fire', she just likes to get excited by MY excitement.

So ... give that a try.  Live in reality, see what works for your wife, not what you believe SHOULD work.

The trouble is usually that my wife thinks I am only romantic because I want s*x!  BUT I always want s*x??????  Even when I am rude and short with my wife I still want s*x SO why doesn't she say that I am only being rude and short with her because I want s*x???????

YES I WANT s*x! ! ! !  No matter how I am "being" with my wife! ! !

SO what do I do?  I continue to be romantic even though I know 95% of the time it will NOT end up with s*x!  Then if I just have to "get off" I take care of myself! ! !
