I think you mean that you wish to become a proposition player playing poker.  Start playing in the game and see how you do dollar wise.  If you are a winning playing able to control your temper then you may be successful.  Talk to the dealers or other prop players to see what you need to do to get hired.

Hi!  Thanks for answering my last question.  I assume by house player you mean the guy sitting at card rooms with huge stacks of chips and a roast beef sandwich who always bets house.  I had a friend in Caly who used to do this.  He made $17/hr but that was back in 1998.  I believe he saw an ad in the newspaper.  Mainly he worked weird hour shifts, and it's a tedious job, but they are usually looking for people.  Your'e best bet would probably be to go to a card room and ask a house player which corporation hired him or call the casino.  Here's the one where he mainy worked:
