  1. practice practice..so things come naturally but smethings dont. U do it until it looks rite...thats the only way. Good luck

  2. you probably should sign up for a class cause u cant get good with out having real interaction with a teacher. Its to hard to teach yourself and u probably wont get anywhere.true dancing comes from your soul, not a dvd.Just don't give up and i bet you will do great .If u love it, stick with it.

  3. if you practice a lot? and of course, you must have good sense of rhythm.

    To tatbaby:

You have to have good sense of rhythm. Just like you can't sing perfectly if you don't have good hearing sense, you can't dance perfectly if you don't have sense of rhythm. But just like hearing sense, you can develop you sense of rhythm by practicing. I used to dance for a 8 years but I stopped a year ago because it was too exhausting because of all competitions and conniptions and because of dance rehearsals  I missed from school a lot and I couldn't keep up with that ( that's because I have been an A student since I know for myself and because of dancing I didn't have enough time for studying ).   I started when I was 8 and back then I had no sense of rhythm. But growing up with music and practicing daily  I gained that sense of rhythm. So, all you have to do is practice a lot and lose yourself in music when you're dancing and not think about anything else. When you dance all that matters is music and you. Just go to some studio and start dancing. Practice makes perfect. And believe me, you CAN do it, especially if you really want to. :)

  4. you should practice a lot. you shouldn't think a lot when you dance. don't try so hard to be good if you let yourself then the moves will come naturally. try listening to music more to gain rhythm.

    Good Luck!!

  5. Practice practice practice

  6. Although I agree with Elani when she says you have to practice a lot, I do not agree with her when she says you have to have a good sense of rhythm. I have been dancing for 11 years now and I am only 14. I do it twice a week for a total of in between 3 1/2 and 5 hrs. I do practice a lot but I have no rhythm whatsoever! Having danced for this long, I have developed a sense of rhythm that helps me look like I actually have rhythm! You should try joining a dance studio if you want to do ballet and such or a dance team at your school for more contemporary dance. Joining a dance studio is more expensive, exspecially if you want to compete. Find friends there that will help you practice and will support you through your dancing career. Hope I helped!

  7. try joining a dance school or by a dvd to teach you!
