How do you become a licensed/certified hairbraider?

im not sure if there is a liceanse for this, but you can go to beauty school to to learn cosmitology.  Also if you already have the skill you can prolly ust go to a small place that specializes in this type of braiding and see if you can apprentice with them.  It wouldnt hurt to just stop by one of these places and just ask one of the ladies how they got into there position.

No. You do not need a license to braid hair in the state of California. As long as you are not applying chemicals.
