How do you become a mermaid on the Sims 2 deluxe edition?

well u have 2 be a scientist. then u can make a potion [put ur DNA and fish DNA in the potion] drink the potion and you become a mermaid.

but it might not always work, i did it 2 times and it only worked once...

[p.s you have to be pretty high up in the sience career]

i'm geussing maybe stand by the ocean or go swimming on bon voyage and stay near the water and you might see a mermaid?? who knows i'm just geussing.

well there is a mermaid cheat i forgot  what its called it make u have babies with a mermaid and your children will be mermaids

I don't think you can. Since there is no way you'd stay out of water and there is not an ocean in Sims 2 Double Deluxe. I think you might have seen a mermaid in a youtube video or something because usually you have to download mermaids. Go to Modthesims.com and type in mermaids. I hope I helped
