How do you become a part of â–² Delta Sigma Theta Inc. â–²

Question

I really want to pledge Delta Sigma Theta, but I don't really know how...or what the requirements are...any Delta's out there that can help me out?

First, I'd check out the National Website at www.deltasigmatheta.org, which will provide background, as well as some information on membership requirements.

If you are in pursuing an undergraduate degree, then you can also check to see if there is an active chapter at your school. Or, if you  have graduates, you can research alumnae chapters in your area. In either case, by all means continue to educate yourself about Delta's history & current programming, and attend programs so that you can get to know the members. Most importantly, take a long hard look at WHY you feel you want to be a part of any sorority and give serious thought to what you expect to get from that *lifetime* committment, as well as what you would contribute to the organization.

If you became familiar with the Sorority via a friend, family member or someone else that you feel close to, then you may wish to share your interest with them after doing the above.
