How do you become a pilot in the Marine Forces Reserve?

  1. you have to go active duty first to become an officer.  you cannot go directly into the reserves as an officer, in the Marines.  other services, you can.


  2. You must be a college grad with a strong background in mathematics and go thru basic Officer's Training School(6 months). You do four years active duty,THEN you do two years reserve.

  3. I would assume you need to be an active officer for a while to complete your basic training and pilots schooling..

    Then after you have served a while you do your transfer into the reserve USMC.
