How do you become a politician in the UK?

Its one of my future plans to become a British politician, how can I become one?

I'm not sure but as far as I know u have to start at a local level as a councilor then move up the council then try for MP. There are a lot of details to this but I don know them. Good luck with it. I'm sure u would be an ideal politician.
