  1. In my case I was brought up a vegetarian, today as an adult I am healthy and enjoy my food. For me this is a normal way of living and eating.

  2. uhhhh...give up eating meat???

  3. Just stop eating meat. There are so many other foods out there. It's best to find substitutes right away, though, so you don't lose any nutrition. Just look up foods with protein and such and eat those instead. It's really very easy.

  4. Learn to replace meat dishes with nuts and other high-protein foods. I was a vegetarian for several months and there were a lot of bean dishes involved, a lot of tofu, salads and eggs. Companies like Morning Star and Boca make fake meats too.

  5. Don't eat any meat, fish, eggs or alchohol and you have become a vegetarian.

  6. Depends on how strict of a vegetarian you want to be, If you do decide to make sure to keep up with protein by eating nuts or take special pills to keep you healthy

  7. Try you hardest to not eat any meat from was once a living creature

Depending on what kind of vegetarian you are planning to be...though

vegan=not very healthy..NO MEAT, Things that cause animals to torture such as milk(factories and machineries and such), eggs, and etc..

Also, its up to you if you want to keep fish part of your diet..

Most vegetarians are known to eat tofu, vegetables, rice, and stuff like that..

also fake meat.. its something that tastes like meat but really isnt..i think it was made out of soy ..

  8. You stop consuming anything that comes from a dead animal.  This includes flesh, gelatin, animal rennet etc.

  9. you can do it gradually - give up red meat first, after you have become used to that give up poultry. Next seafood and lastly dairy products if you can handle the vegan life style. I tried but eventually went back to eating seafood and dairy and I'm very happy with that.

  10. Stop eating the flesh of animals.  Also stop eating gelatin and animal rennet (which is used to coagulate many cheeses).  Really, it's that simple.  Read labels.  Gelatin pops up in the weirdest places.  If you eat cheese, make sure it's rennet-free.

Eggs are included in a vegetarian diet, but not a vegan diet.

There are more resources out there than just Yahoo! Answers.  Go find them.

  11. Well there are a number of ways people attempt to accomplish this the only way i am aware of that works is giving up meat
