To become an airline pilot (i'm assuming you're thinking qantas or similiar) you will need education wise a pass in english and maths and high school level OR a fully completed bachelor degree in any discipline. As far as being a pilot for smaller regional airlines goes, requirements are more focused on experience. There are many cadetships and programs out there offered by airlines, and these are well worth looking into.
