I’m not much of a runner per say but i would like to try to do a marathon in Nov 09, it'd be out of the question if I were to try this years marathon, I’m 43 and will be 44 by the time it comes around, I do allot of cardio classes and I’ve noticed my endurance is getting better.. any suggestions or websites, I don’t care to win I just want to finish.......I know this sounds crazy for a woman my age but I’d like to try at the very least..

  1. Check out the Non-Runners Marathon book.  There are also other similar plans available.  I have found a number of helpful and supportive people on the Runner's World forums (in the Beginner's Forum).

And it is not crazy at all...I know of lots of people that have run their first marathons in their 30s, 40s, and 50s .  Good Luck!

  2. Hello. I am a semi-professional Runner (I didnt make the olympics unfortunatly) and I am trying to help Americans become more fit.

I am currently working on a website on which you can submit your fitness information and I give you a personal Training program. The website is not up and running yet, so I currently am allowing people to email me their information and giving programs out that way. THIS IS FREE.

This is not a scam. I am not asking for any personal information. You dont even have to give me your real name. If you choose to get a personal training program, please email me (personalfitnesstrainer011@yahoo.com)
