  1. i cook my peas in the microwave for about 1 minute in water from the kettle, in a cup about 1 inch of water.

peel the peas before breaking up and dropping in the tank, my gouramis love them!

  2. hide and jump out on it.

  3. Drop it in boiling water for about a minute, then take it out-- voilla: blanched pea.  Remove the outer shell and feed them the inner part.

  4. I usually boil a few at a time for around 3-4 minutes...tht way they are very soft when done...blanched pea...make sure to remove the shell...only feed small bits of the softer inner portion of the pea...

Betta eat peas...although they enjoy meat stuff, they should be fed peas...good job there...

  5. Toss it in boiling water for 10-15 seconds.

  6. Betta's really aren't pea eaters.  They enjoy insects and meat type foods much more than veggies.  They are very picky eaters and often won't even touch something like a pea.  You have to make sure it is tiny pieces as well.
