Can you bleach white clothes with screen prints? When you put the bleach in, do you just pour it on the clothes or the circular part in the middle of the washer?

  1. With screen prints, don't use warm or hot water (and bleach will fade your screen print)....possibly bleed it into the white too.

Add peroxide or a stain fighter directly to a stain on that shirt with a q-tip - it'll clean up nicely.

toss in luke cool water with soap to finish it off.

  2. run warm water and while the water is ruining, pour the bleach and the laundry detergent in the water and then add the white clothes. Don't worry, the bleach won't ruin the screen print.

  3. Never pour bleach directly on fabrics;  It actually eats a hole in them!

I'd use bleach for colors, or oxiclean, not chlorine bleach.

Rit also makes a whitening product, but it might remove the color from your screen prints, too.

    Good Luck!

  4. I'm not sure what screen prints are so I'll leave that part of the question to others.  As far as adding the bleach, I start the water running before putting the clothes in.  I then add the dry detergent and swish it around till it dissolves, and then I add the bleach, pouring it directly into the water around the agitator.  Finally, I add the clothes.  Incidentally, I always wash my whites in hot water.  Hope that helps!

  5. I add bleach to all whites. I use generic bleach.

I use hot water. I don't have fading or problems with socks eating holes.

I wait until the wash machine is full water. The bleach container says to add 5 minutes after the wash cycle as started then pour 1 cup full of bleach.
