  1. It depends on what kind of wireless router that you use. Some routers have an Access Restrictions feature that will allow you to create rules on how devices will be able to access the Internet. For example, I own a Linksys WRT54GS router and under Access Restrictions I created a schedule that defines when my children are allowed to access the Internet.

The best way to block him is to create a rule that will block his access during all times and enable it as needed. It is better to use his computer's MAC address (physical address) instead of his IP address since, most likely, you use a DHCP server to assign IP addresses and his IP address is very likely to change.

Another way of doing it is enabling your router's wireless MAC filter to filter out his MAC address from connecting to the wireless router. This would be a permanent ban though, as every time you would want to restore his access you would need to remove his MAC address from the filter.

  2. There should be an option to 1) View all connected computers and 2) Block all network services to a specific local IP address. Probably in the firewall.

  3. You need to go to your router's control panel, usually by typing something like 192.168.0.1 into your internet browser.

There should be a section called something like "MAC address filtering", where you can specify either which MAC addresses CAN access the router, or which CANNOT.

  4. set up a different wep key and change the log-in username and password for the modem interface page.
