How do you block numbers on your home phone from calling you?

This telemarketer or something keeps calling my house phone. Sometimes at like 2 in the morning. It's SO irritating. Can someone tell me how to stop it?

Try dialing *77. If you already have anonymous call rejection, this will activate it.

it's illegal for telemarketers to call at that time, so it may be someone else.  If someone has a blocked number you can call your phone company and ask for Anonymous Call Rejection, that comes with caller id.  Look in the front of your phone book, it should have all the info you need.

There is a device you can buy that is supposed to block those calls.You could try your phone company,they might can help.If it is a person and not a recorded message use a whistle,yes its mean,no one can call your home between the hours of 6 pm and 7 am .That's illegal.Telemarketers and the like that is.I understand your frustration,I have late night Sunday callers.
