How do you block somebody on myspace but still let them be your friend?

my friend blocked me but she still has me on her friends list and i want to know the same

just go to her page and there is going to be something in the box to send message to block click on it and thats it

When you block somebody (by going to their profile and clicking "block user" in the contact box), all what you're doing is preventing them from commenting/messaging you. You're still on their list unless they delete you from it.

You could block her by doing exactly what she did; going to her profile and clicking block user. But if you want to talk to her about it, you need to talk to her on IM, email, phone, etc.
