How do you book a famous artist for a concert?

well first you need to contact their managment and ask, and it would be better to also see their tour schedule if they have one to see if the date you want them isnt taken.  

keep in mind you will have to pay for all their expenses and security etc etc.

Contact their Agent.  If you are flexible as to when they can appear, you can usually work a 'special' price if they can fit you in when they are traveling between venues... and the savings can be considerable... anyway... contact their Agent.

Contact their agent. If you don't know how to contact their agent google their official web site. There's usually contact information there. Be aware not only will you be paying their fees and expenses I was usually asked to provide security. Any famous artist will also insist on a clause excusing them from the concert if they receive an artistic assignment. I've booked a few for fandom events.
