How do you boost your views on a video on youtube?

I hav sum videos of me on youtube and wanted to know if any1 has any tips or adivce or ideas how to boost your views? =/

u have to make intresting videos like say u make a vid of say how cute your cat is or dog w/e and go on a pet site in thier forums post it in a minute it should be viewed like over 1000 times

It is the BEST way and 100% legitimate and non-cheating way of getting views the fastest. Watch other people videos to earn points, and the more points you have, the more your video will be shown. Its the best way for not cheating. You will get banned any other way.

I guess one way is to spam the link on to websites like Yahoo Answers in the form of a faux question.

Tags can be very very useful..

in your tags, put names of 'famous' youtubers (aka. nerimon, smosh, frezned, mememolly or davedays) so when ppl are looking them up, they'll come across your  video.

Also, in your first video it's best to do something like a 50 facts video, which is basically 50 random facts about yourself, which CAN end up quite funny if you put in the right facts.

Keep watching your vids back and ask yourself if you enjoyed them yourself.

mabey go into some youtube channels and put your url there.

i got 575 views on 1 video but no f***ing rating d**n!!

try to make friends with people who's videos you like..if you leave comments and ratings then a good percentage of people will become curious about you

You could always download a demo of tube increaser, let that run for 40 minutes and that should give you about 1000+ views. Then, if you have firefox or opera, initiate reload every for about 10 minutes (youtube freezes the view count after 200 views) wait a few hours until the youtube view count reloads and viola, you have a video that's now in the "rising" section of youtube. Since it's got noticed there, people will come and check it out.

Or you could just make a good video, try to get the word out, and hope that it catches on. Myspace, Facebook, blogs and comments (though simply pitching your video will give you bad comments)

Those are all ways you can boost your views. :)
