Question:

How do you braid hair so you don't get the kink at the end?

I really like braiding my hair after I wash it and then sleeping in it over night so I get a wavy look, but the only problem is, I get the kink at the bottom where the rubberband was. Then I have to mess with my hair a bunch to get the kink out. Are there any type of rubberbands or anything I can do so this never happens... or is this something I will just have to deal with?

  1. I say its something you have to deal with sorry for being rude.

I get that all the time I don't ike it so I don't get that style anymore.

  2. Next time instead of using rubber bands to secure it, get some bobby pins and use those to secure your braids instead of hair ties. You can also use a piece of ribbon or string and loosely tie it just enough so it won't slip out but isn't pinching the hair.

  3. Wow! I know just how to help you! I do just the same all of the time, they look fabulous, don't they? :]

Well, instead of using a rubberband, try to find a regular ole' ponytail holder to use instead. Less force on your hair always helps! Also, I'm not sure where you place it now, but try to leave an inch to an inch and a half of hair at the end of your braid. Good luck!

  4. You can try the "no kink" hair ties, but I highly doubt they work. Try using very thin string instead of a hair tie. It probably won't completely work, but the kink will be smaller.
