  1. Get a thesaurus.

  2. Great or excellent?

You can always use a thesarus.

  3. Have a really close friend and ALL of your family help you break it by calling your attention to it every time you say it.

    Other words are

    cool

    amazing

    great

  4. Many people find it endearing when their friends have "catch phrases" that they say all the time.  "Awesome" isn't particularly original, though, but if you say it in a unique tone of voice it could work as one.

You could try bringing back "tubular"  Oh, and I know someone who would say "that's my world" to agree.  You also try saying "I love me some..."  or "I'm all about..." in some cases instead of "awesome".

    Example:

friend: I got us tickets to see Batman.

    you: awesome!

you (alternative 1): I love me some Batman.

you (alternative 2): I'm all about seeing Batman.

you (alternative 3): Batman... yeah, that's my world!

    you (alternative 4): Tubular, dude!

  5. big rubber band around the wrist, when you say the word, thwack yourself in the same spot over and over.

  7. cool, great?
