How do you break in a good catchers mitt?

How do you break in a good catchers mitt?

you could run over it with a truck a few times...

or just be like normal people and play catch for a while

I just went out and started using it. Now it is broken in very nicely.

i used 8 glove treatments over 2 days and used it everyday nd i broke it in in 3-4 days

I was the equipment manager for our local little league for 8 years...

some of the catchers gloves were as hard as bricks.......

one year we brought in Doyle Bros for a league clinic.........

the question came up how do you break in a rock hard glove........

answer, drop it in a bucket of water, leave it there two to three minutes .......dry it out....next day it's good to go ........flexible as can be.......

Cooper made these gloves that were rock hard bricks.......

this softened them up in one day.........

later we did this with $250 infielders gloves for the hs team,
