wondering if there are any ways to ease into getting to know this knew girl who i'll be sharing a room with. i'm pretty introverted usually..

so i don't really know how i should handle it..

should i just wait until she talks to me.. and keep to myself..

or get right into asking her about her life??

  1. Say hi to her and shake her hand, introduce yourself and also talk about where she came from and what she is planning to accomplish in college and also what classes she is taking. Maybe you can even ask her what high school she came from. There are so many questions in the world I am sure it won't be too hard to make conversation.

  2. I can be shy too, and I definitely worried about that when I first went away to college. The thing is that it's sort of a captive audience, and you get over the shyness thing really quick. When you're stuck in a tiny room with someone, basically living life right next to each other, you really can't help but get to talking naturally.

  3. start off slow and just be friendly. mayb start off by introducing yourself first

  4. The best way to brake the ice is to be your self say hi and introduce your self. Then ask what she like to do and then compare to your self for example movies, game, music, etc. I think that best way to start things up and worried if she she still do not speak it take time beside you have a whole school years to get know each other. "GOOD LUCK IN COLLAGE "

  5. i would ease into it.  like don't be overly outgoing so that it's annoying.  but just be really friendly and ask her about her family... friends... school, etc.  be very kind to her.  :]  good luck!
