I just bought a house. It has a really nice stainless steel sink in the kitchen, but it just seems dull. Is there any way, or any products that I can use, that will bring back the luster?

  1. It depends on the age of the sink but you can try the new stainless steel polishes and cleaners.  They are available at any hardware store or supermarket.  I have all stainless sinks and appliances and I use the polishes.  They definitely bring a glow and clean as well.  I polish the sinks once a week and they shine and keep spots away and help protect against scratches.  It's worth a try.  If the luster is really gone due to age, then you may have to think about replacing.

  2. There is a stainless polish made for such a sink. Try your hardware store or Home Depot.

  3. Use a powder cleanser (such as Bon Ami, Comet., Ajax) with a little water . Rinse really well, dry and apply a light coat of baby oil with a paper towel. It will stay shiney  and repel water spots for quite awhile, however soap and hot water will desolve the baby oil. But it will look good for the guest!

  4. There's a product called "Sheila Shine"  It's really fantastic however, be very careful not to get any of it in your food.  It will make you very sick.

  5. Lemon and salt its a natural cleaner and takes marks off! highly recomend

  6. I found that Neverdull works best
