i do not know exactly,Wat you Min as a flotation.but flotations are build from  insulation foam,and be cover from both SIDS with fiber Glass .many company's in the boat  industry are made the same whey.because is very light and very strong.boats lest than 20 feet they must have plenty  flotation to protect the boat from sinking is a mandatory,for the builders
