  1. Materials you need:

    A small bottle, a straw, modeling clay, and food coloring.

    Procedure:

    1) Pour water into the bottle until it is three quarters full. Add a few drops of food coloring and stir.

    2) Put a straw in bottle so that it dips in the water. Seal the mouth of the bottle with modeling clay.

    3) Blow gently into the straw. Stop until it is halfway.

    4) Make a black mark to show the level of the water. This should show the room temperature (normal).

    5) Make a blue mark below the black one leaving some space in between. This shows that the weather is cold.

    6) Make a red mark above the black to show that the weather is hot.

    7) Check if it works. Put it in the refrigerator; if the water drops below the blue, it works. Put it in a warm place. If the water goes up, it works.

    8) Have fun. It will help you find the weather whenever or wherever you want.
