  1. Walpurgis Night is a traditional religious holiday (celebrated by Pagans, Roman Catholics, and Satanics[1] alike) celebrated on April 30 or May 1 in large parts of Central and Northern Europe.[2]

The current festival is in most countries celebrating it named after Saint Walpurga, born in Devonshire about 710. Due to her holy day falling on the same day, her name became associated with the celebrations. Walpurga was honored in the same way that Vikings had celebrated spring and as they spread throughout Europe, the two dates became mixed together and created the Walpurgis Night celebration. Early Christianity had a policy of 'Christianising' pagan festivals so it is perhaps no accident that St. Walpurga's day was set to May 1st.

  2. Don't know and would not want too. Why do you want to know this? Don't you understand that many innocent people died because of stupid people?

  3. im not going to judge u, im not even going to ask why,

  4. Why would you want to "build" a witches cradle? Are you a fundamentalist Christian who's gone wacko? Planning your own inquisition?

The "Witches Cradle" was a method of torturing Witches during the Renaissance and Middle Ages by binding the supposed Witch in a garment or sack and suspending them from the limb of a tree. The continual rocking and swinging caused a profound disorientation and hallucinations and induced "confessions". Used in a more contemporary context as a sensory deprivation technique to alter states of consciousness.

You may as well waterboard a person.

Edit: So you admit that you're interested in torturing a Witch, just for the experience?
