How do you build apartments in the Sims 2 Apartment life?

When I went to build a "residental lot" I couldn't find the mailbox with like multiple mailboxes inside. I know you are able to build them because they say it in the walk through they just dont tell you how.

Build a residential lot.

Make sure you use the right doors as apartment doors or it won't work.

When your finished bring up the cheat menu.

(hold "control shift c" )

Once completed enter "changelotzoning apartmentbase"

Exit the lot and then reenter again. When you reenter the correct mailbox should be there. :)
