Mutuals and ETF's and stocks and cther stuff. Can you give me some investment recommendations and can you tell me how much i must invest

    There are a ton of things to know, I could not begin to write it all here. Seek a securities attorney and a consultant who has expertises in this area.

    Do you mean to have a personal investment portfolio of ETFs instead of mutual funds. not a bad idea.

    Look for the big ones. High liquidity (high daily trading volume) such as QQQQ, SPY.

  2. YOU don't build your own ETF!!!

    aside from the fact that you don't have the capital/experience/etc. necessary to do this, anyone who looks to the internet to figure out how to do this will never be able to get their "fund" listed in the first place.

    you realize that you would need about $250m to start one of these things, right?  and then you would need to convince other people to buy into it so you can get some of your money back.

    this is a dumber question than all the 14-year-olds who come on here to ask how to start up a hedge fund.
