How do you burn a DVD to a DVD-R?

I'm using DVDFAB Platinum to burn movies (DVDs) My question is what steps do I need to do in order to watch them on regular DVD players. My options are:

1. Burn full disc

2. Just copy the movie

3. Clone 1:1 bit dual layer DVD copy/PS2 data

4. Write data; converts DVD to ISO image.

Now I don't know what to do...When I burn the copied movie to the DVD-R which one will play correctly?

You can buy the proper software to burn cd's and dvd's at most electronic stores. Like Office Mae, etc.
